Poet, physician, art activist and wellness expert

Amar Mann Kaur is a poet, physician, art activist and wellness expert who understands poetry as a source of healing, beauty and social change. Her writing explores the mystical, magical and mysterious dimensions of life, nature and the Divine. She is the author of the poetry collection Love, Truth & Divine, and her poems have appeared in Poets for Science, Bear River Review and Naad Pargaas, among other publications.

Based in Michigan with her husband and daughter, she develops artivism projects concerned with human rights and reducing single-use plastics. As a physician and graduate of a Master of Public Health programme, she also works to improve patient wellbeing and support policy change within her health system.
