Bhajneek Kaur is an NHS consultant in palliative medicine, a mother of two and the author of several publications with Khalis House. Her literary work centres on presenting Sikh philosophy to children in ways that are thoughtful, engaging and accessible.

Her wider interests include children’s literature, spirituality, parenthood, and how we understand death and dying. Within the Panth, she is passionate about championing Sikh scholars and visionaries and supporting the seva they undertake.

Bhajneek divides her time between caring for people approaching the end of their lives and caring for her children at home. Away from her professional and literary work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and listening to Sikh music alongside music from other traditions.
