ਖਾੜਕੂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਕ ਤੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਭਾਈ ਅਜਮੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲੋਂ ਲਿਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਆਤਮ-ਕਥਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਨਿਆਇ-ਯੁਕਤ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਅੱਧਵਾਟੇ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਕਸਲੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ 1984 ਦੇ ਸਾਕੇ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਖਾੜਕੂ ਲਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਗਿਆ । ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਚੱਲੀਆਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਖਾੜਕੂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕਾਂ, ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਕ ਆਧਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਐਕਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੇੜਿਉਂ ਨਿਹਾਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ । ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਕਸ਼ੀਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਜੀਵ ਚਿਤ੍ਰਣ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੱਚ-ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਘਾੜਦਾ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਪਿਛਲੀ ਅੱਧੀ ਸਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਰਮਾਣਿਕ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ/ਖ਼ਾਮੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਸੂਝ-ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ।
