I highly recommend this book to Sikh parents and young children. It takes the reader on a journey through the eyes of a Sikh child with Kes. The reader learns about the significance of Kes and Sikh identity through a simple narrative woven with facts about Sikh role models and important historical events. My son and I enjoyed the book immensely. It is visually rich with illustrations and presented as a quality publication. I salute the author and illustrator for producing an important book for all children to learn from - Sikh and non-Sikh alike. With deep appreciation and gratitude, Gurfateh!
